Property Chamber (First-tier Tribunal) Careers Event
28 April 2022 4.30-6.30pm
10 Alfred Place, London WC1E 7LR
The Property Chamber has a small team of salaried judges and surveyors, but we rely on fee paid judges, surveyors and professional and lay members to hear most of our cases. We recruit regularly via the Judicial Appointments Commission and are particularly interested in encouraging applications from women, people from a Black, Asian or other Minority Ethnic background and people with a disability in order to improve diversity within the Chamber.
We handle applications, appeals and references relating to disputes over property and land. Most cases fall within our Residential Property division and are heard by a judge or Valuer Chair, sitting with one or two Tribunal members in 5 regions across England. The majority of our non-legal members are surveyors, but we also appoint architects and Environmental Health Officers, together with lay members.
If you would be interested in future opportunities to join the Chamber, please come to our careers event on 28 April 2022, held at our London base.
You will meet the Chamber President Siobhan McGrath and other senior judges and surveyors, together with a representative from the Judicial Appointments Commission. There will be a short presentation about the Chamber and the application process, followed by time for questions and informal discussion.
Numbers are limited so if you would like to attend please contact:
