ALEP Letter to Matthew Pennycook MP

Directors of the Association of Leasehold Enfranchisement Practitioners (ALEP) have written to Housing Minister, Matthew Pennycook MP to congratulate him on his appointment as Minister of State in the Ministry for Housing, Communities and Local Government and to seek clarity around the timings of full commencement of the Leasehold & Freehold Reform Act 2024, proposed next steps for secondary legislation and the status of the Ground Rent Consultation.
“ALEP is not anti-reform as is often stated, but changes to legislation must work in practice for all concerned.”
